Jonathan Quarles
A native of Flint, Michigan, Jonathan Quarles is our Founder & Chief Executive Officer, leading Quartz on its quest to put a dent in global access to clean water. Jonathan considers himself a serial entrepreneur, having had his first job at eight years old – a paper route for the Flint Journal. When he is not running Quartz, Jonathan advises clients on business development, strategic projects, and relationship management through his consulting business, The BTL Group.
Wherever the entrepreneurial journey has taken him, Jonathan has always remained passionate about growing ventures that live at the intersection of business and social impact. Quartz is an embodiment of that passion and he cannot wait for the challenges and opportunities that come with expanding its impact on the world.
